EMG120 Magnetic Linear Encoders

EMG120 and EMG121 Magnetic Reader Encoders are designed to work with the EMS110 and EMS200 Series Magnetic Linear Scales. They provide an incremental (encoder/pulse) signal output and offer a standard resolution of 5 µm (0.005 microns). These encoders are ideal for precision and reliable performance in various industrial applications.

EMG120 MAGNETIC LINEAR ENCODERS

The EMG120 Magnetic Reader Encoders work with EMS110 and EMS200 Series Magnetic Linear Scales.

They accurately read position data and send encoder pulses by moving at a distance of 0.1 – 2 mm without touching the magnetic strip.

These encoders are available in both wired and spiral models, with options for with chip removal or without chip removal.

They are produced with a 5Vdc - TTL or 24Vdc - PPL power supply voltage.

They provide an incremental (encoder/pulse) signal output.

The encoders have a standard resolution of 5 µm (0.005 microns).

With an IP67 protection class, they are resistant to oil, water, dust, and other environmental factors.

To protect the cables under harsh production conditions, they are shielded with a Steel Galvanized Spiral Conduit.

Cable lengths are typically 3.5 meters and 5 meters, but up to 50 meters can be produced in a single piece upon request.

You can use EMS320 Magnetic Scales with EMOS80, EMOS100 Digital Displays, PLC, CNC Systems, Digital Counters, and any devices with encoder reading features.

Thanks to integrated scrapers on the sensor body, they are especially protected from potential external factors like dust, dirt, and chips that may form on the magnetic strip or profile they move over.
